File Sharing On Network Not Working

Had to install a new drive on Mom's computer. Use to have it sharing it's
files and printer with Dad, both using WinXP-Pro. Was able to setup the
shared printer but can't get Mom's C-drive to share. Went in folder options
and set Everyone to have full access. Still not working. So went into Folder
Options and removed Simple File Sharing, restarted and set c drive to share
with full permissions to Everyone. Still not working. What did I miss?

When you installed to the new drive, is the Workgroup name correct?
(sysdm.cpl) Can you see the other workgroup members? If not, do they even
ping? Is the share local rather than network?

Workgroup name is "office" for all computers in this family. Isn't it since
I share and use her computer?

It is a network for the family so I guess it called local.

Noticed on my other computers that share in this family that I have no
IRPStacksize parameter is any of the registries so I doubt if adding this
would fix problem.

Don't understand your answer or direction. As indicated in my story I tried
Simple File Sharing and when that did not work, I unchecked it and put in
Everyone to share computer. Neither worked. What is different in what you
recommended to read?
