I transferred Microsoft Photoed.exe to the new computer, which has office
2003 on it. My version doesn't have the Photoed program. I don't want to
install parts of office 2000 on the computer. Is there a way to get the
system to recognize the Photoed program?

Perform a custom installation of Office 2K, and "de-select" all
applications and options other than Photo Editor.

Bruce,

Is there another way? When I follow your procedure and install just the
PhotoEd program it wipes out the new version of Excel and Word.
Had to go back and reinstall the 2003 Word and Excel. The PhotoEd folder and
files got tranferred originally with the transfer wizzard and are in the
Micro Shared folder. It shows up in "open with", but just won't load "in
this configuration"? I have temporarily put a short cut on the desk top,
which allows me to use the program. It's just a bit inconvenient to have to
go the desktop when I need the program.
