File property changes when daylight saving kicks in

When the clocks went back the other week I note that all of my file
properties also changed by moving the time back an hour. In other words any
file I created at 10PM now shows as created at 9PM. This creates problems
with my Iomega synchronisation back up because nothing matches and the
program attempts to update everything on my computer using the files on the
back up disk. In certain conditions this could result in losing valuable data.

Has anyone else noticed this and if so is there anything that can be done?

I'm not saying what XP does is right. To be honest, I never noticed but
apparently this is what the operating system does and is applied globally
to the file system. Programs need to be designed to work with the operating
system. I would suggest looking for resolutions from Iomega in regards to
this issue.
