FILE printer driver

I need to create a printer using the FILE printer driver.
I could do this in the past, but now, when I click on Add Printer, use the
Add Printer Wizard, and choose Local Printer, I do not see the FILE: entry
in the list of ports anymore. I just see LPTx and COMx. If I choose Create
a new port, the Types I can choose are only 'Local Port' and 'Standrad
TCP/IP Port'.
How may I restore the situation so that I can see the FILE: port again?
