File Display

MS Word 2003 has suddenly begun to display in inverted alphabetical order in
the "open file" & "save as" boxes. Both folders & files are shown this way.

I can't find the fix - Any ideas?

Thanks

Click on the "Name" button at the top of the list. If the little gray arrow
points up, it sorts in ascending order. If it points down, it sorts in
descending order.

I hope this helps.

Right-click a blank area in the dialog and choose Arrange Icons By > Name.

If you also choose View > Details, you can repeatedly click the title of the
Name column to switch from descending to ascending and back again as you
like, or click the other column heads to sort by date, size, etc. The column
titles are available only in Details view, but any order you set there will
be used by the other views.
