How do I return my Open file list to alphabetical order?

My Open Files dialog box in Word 2003 is now listening files and folders in
seemingly random order. Until today, the listing was always alphabetical.
So far, I can find no way to return this list to alphabetical order, and I've
been unable to find this issue addressed in the Help function.

How do I return my Open file listing to alphabetical order in Word 2003?

Right-click an empty spot in the list and choose View > Details. Click
the heading of the Name column. Each time you click there, it will
reverse the sorting order. When you have it sorted the way you want,
you can reset the view to whichever one you like.
