file deletion problems

Hey All,
Im am currently quite fustrated with a file on my
computer. Im trying to delete it and a message keps
appearing telling me "the file is being used by another
person of program, close any other program that might be
using this file and try agian." I downloaded it with a
file sharing program and have since copied the file to
another folder and removed the filesharing program
(aries). Thinking that I needed aries to delete the
program i have reinstalled it, to no avial. It won't let
me move it back because of the same error "the file is
being used by another person of program, close any other
program that might be using this file and try agian." so
I have gone to on line support and tried many things..
1)deleting in safe mode
2)freeing system resources through msconfig
3)spybot and adaware programs-both which i used to remove
extra stuff
4)system restore
I just can't think of anything elese and am quite
fustrated to the point of exploding my comp :(
if anyone could help me it would be greatly appricated

hardhead

you must stop it from running or starting. look in task
manager to see whats running or look in administrative
tools-services.
