File Deletion Help Needed

I have some "dbx files" from Outlook Express save on my Memorex Thumb Drive
(F. Cannot not rename or delete them. Have used delinifile.exe utility but
it says their write protected. I "moved" them to another folder but they
still remain on the Thumb-Drive (F.

Any thoughts on how I can get them off the Thumb Drive?

Make sure the switch on the bottom of the thumb drive is not in the
lock (read only) position?

Still learning after all this gray hair. It worked.
