File and Printer Sharing

Hi, I have Win XP Pro service Pack 2 and my wife has XP Pro without service
pack 2. We are having problems right now installing SP2 but in the meantime,
can someone please help me understand why I cannot connect to our printers or
drives? We both have printers connected to our computers but I cannot connect
o hers and she either. I cannot connect to her drives also. Is that because
I have SP2 and she doesn't? I know hoe to share printers and drives in XP, so
I know that's not the problem and my windows firewall is not on and I do no
have another firewall installed.

SP2 places a Windows Firewall icon in control panel. It may be stopping your internal network
