Field in subform not showing data

I am running Access '97 on Windows XP. I have individual front ends
installed on 2 computers, with the back end on a server. A form with 2
subforms, each based on different querys, works fine on one of the
computers, but when opened on the 2nd computer, one field on one of the
subforms shows no data. If I go to design view, and back to form view, the
data shows up. I'm not sure where to start on this one.

Any help would be appreciated, TIA

I would start by copying the file on the computer that works to the computer
that has the problem and see if that file will work without the problem. If
so, there was probably something corrupted in the file.

Also, with all of the front-end files closed (i.e. nothing using the
back-end file) do a Repair and a Compact of the back-end file. Do the same
for the front-end file.
