view subform with subform

I have a subform back in design view ON another Subform - I linked the parent
to child fields - which are workdate and Job # - It works great - EXCEPT I
can only View if the second subform has Info in it by clicking on the Plus
sign for the record - I would like to be able to see ALL records for a given
Workdate - or Job number that I click on in the 1st subform without having to
click on the plus sign- I tried to format the 2nd subform to change it from
single, split form, etc. but allshow it has "hidden" behind Each record.

What am I missing?
thanks for helping,
Barb

The parent subform should ideally be in Single form view (Properties...
Default View) in order to see the sub-subform. By default A2003 (and perhaps
A2007??) creates subforms in datasheet view; and you can only see a subform of
a datasheet as a subdatasheet, using the + icon.
