Fax

I just installed the thing so I can send and receive faxes with Outlook
2000. Now how do I get it to work? Whenever I click New fax message a box
comes up that looks like a new mail message and when I try to send it to my
own number it can't find any matches. I have a DSL modem but the only modem
it would let me set it up to was my old dial-up modem and it said I have
Windows 95 should I just uninstall this thing? How do I do that?

If you don't have a phone line, you can't fax.
Fax uses phone lines.
Even if you obtain a DSL line filter suitable for connecting a standard
analog voice line to the DSL line, you will still need an analog fax modem.

BTW, that "thing" you installed is called WinFax Starter edition. It is
outdated by years, not supported, and rarely works.
