Outlook 2000 Fax

I am running Windows 98 R2 with Office 2000 Professional
My Outlook 2000 was working fine untill the other day.
I use a cable modem and that works fine. My problem is faxing.

I have a phone line connected and am using it just for faxing.
It was working both for inbound and outbound. Now I cannot send a fax.
According to the status window, it is trying to use my lan connection to
send the fax.

I have gone into Accounts and tried setting the Symantic Fax Starter to use
the modem, but it does not stay set.

How do I get my fax to work again.

WinFax SE should appear as a LAN.
What did you do to get it to stop working?

That I am not sure. My son changed the fax cover page and then it did not
work any more. Is there any way of re-installing it?

Not really. Bear in mind that this is a program that barely ever worked for
anyone and has not been supported for 5 years. I'd look over the
troubleshooting information here:
