I am trying to use the fax that comes with XP, but it only sees the dialup
modem I have installed, but I am now using broadband so when I try and send
it say no dial tone.

How can I tell it to send using my broadband connection?

Thanks

Greg

You can't send a fax over a broadband modem.

And when did you last see a fax machine connected to Broadband: either cable
or DSL?

A whole different technology: faxes use telephone lines as do dial up
modems.

You would have noticed that when you switched from Dial-up Internet Access
to Broadband, that you had to change modems: this should have been a clue
that the fax would not work on the broadband connection.
