Fax Service

Dear all,

I have successful setup Fax Sever on Windows 98SE workstation and configured as a Shared Fax Server for others Windows 98SE workstations in the network. But when I try to configure Windows 2000 Pro as a Fax Client to connect to the above mentioned Fax Server (Win98SE), I can't find the Microsoft Fax setting of "Network Fax Server" under "modem" tab as mentioned in KB-141292. Please guide me how to solve this problem so that I able to send fax out from Windows 2000 Pro workstation via the Windows 98SE Fax Server.

Thank you & have a great day.

Best regards,

This is a problem without a good solution. The Windows 2000 Fax service is
stand alone, single user and cannot function as a fax client with the
At-Work Fax system provided by Windows 98. It can only act as a client with
the Shared Fax Service provided by Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) or
Windows 2003 Server. In short, what you want won't work with either Windows
2000 or Windows XP.
