Fax sent is wrong resolution

If you attach a document to an outlook message and then
send it via fax from outlook, the received fax is shrunk.
It is about 1/4 of the size that it should be.

The fax printer resolution is set to 300dpi, the paper
size is A4 and orientation is portrait.

Can anyone help?
 
No. You failed to post your fax software, Outlook version, attachment type,
rendering program, and whether the entire fax is compressed or just the
attachment.
