Favorites & Programs - All Users or Me?

P

PT

When I look into Windows Explore at Documents & Settings, there are several
Folders: All Users, Owner and Me. Each contains subfolders for Programs and
Favorites, each of which has somewhat different contents in the respective
sub-folder.

Thus, some programs I've added are in each "Programs" sub-folder, and
similarly for "Favorites".

1. Why is this happening.
2. How can i get a single consolidated favorites and programs folder
contents?
3. In which of the three should it end up.
4. Do I need the three? If not, which is the one to keep?

Hi,

It is part of the design needed for true user profiles and you should not
attempt to delete any of them, even in a single user system.

In general, program made available to all users of the system should be in
the "All Users" program menu folder. Those that you want specific to only
certain users should be placed in their individual folders.
