Moving Favorites from Me to XP

My XP box does not have a writeable drive (besides HD, as yet, will be here
soon)......in the meantime, is there any way to copy/move/email?? my IE
Favorites, including the subfolders, to the new XP box? I was going to copy
the Folders and URL files in the Me Favorites folder and email them to my XP
address, but, the <desktop.ini> file concerned me...I am fairly sure it
should not be moved to the new box.

Any ideas on the matter would be most appreciated.....I should have these
two boxes 'talking' to each other soon, so, it is not a big deal.

I don't know that it will hurt. I'd just zip the whole favorites folder &
e-mail the zip to myself.

NB: USB flash/thumb drives are *really* inexpensive nowadays. I'd pick one
up.

In your old computer, Internet Explorer, File, Import and Export and then
export your favorites to an HTML file.
Email the file to your new computer.
In your new computer import the HTML file.
