To anyone who can help:
I recently installed Windows 2000 on my machine. I
obtained all the service patches, security updates, new
drivers, Direct X, Media Player 9, etc.
I created many folders, in "Favorites" and everything
runs just fine.
The problem is that all of the icons, to the left of the
web site names, suddenly changed to the blue icons with
the "e" in the center of the icon. The original icons
were an easy way for me to visually click on a website
more quickly than having to read what each web site is. I
didn't do anything, that I know of, to change this. I
have spent hours searching the help file for Internet
Explorer 6, news groups, Microsoft help sites, etc. I
would very much like to restore the appearance that I had
originally with the unique icons that many of the web
sites provide.
Also, when I add a new favorite I get the unique icon,
but the next time I go into that folder it has already
been changed to the blue icons with the "e" in the center
of the icon.
If anyone has an answer for me I would be very grateful
to be enlightened in this regard.
Warmest regards,
Randy Mayerat
