Favorites File

My Favorites file has disappeared. The folder is empty,
don't know where else to look. Have been using and adding
favorites for three months only.
Sure would like to recover. Using xp Home edition.

Look for the old Favorites folder and either add the contents to the
new empty folder or change the location in the Registry.

You can change the value of Favorites in the Registry in these
two keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders
