I am not sure how some favorites got on my Internet
Explorer Favorites list - However when delete them they
go away only to return after I reboot or restart my
computer.

I am on IE version 6 running on windows 2000. I would
appreciate if you could tell me how to get rid of them
permanently.

Thanks
AJ

I'm not an expert, but I suspect you have spyware/adware
running on your machine which is automatically putting
these things back in the favorites list.

PC world recommends a couple of good utilities for
cleaning you machine and I use both:

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
