Faulting application excel.exe Crash

C

Craig Street

Hi

Our users are experiencing a period but intermittent Excel crash. No
errors are raised to the user (at all) - Excel just closes down. This
issue is not limited to one machine, all users appear to be
experiencing the same problem. It generally when the user presses a
button, but it can be any button (ie any kind vba being executed).
Happens around 10 times per day with constant use of the sheet.

Below is what I believe is the NT event log error. So the question is,
how do I go about troubleshooting this?

This is a business app that we use whilst on the phone to customers,
and its a major inconvenience to say the least.

Many thanks
Craig

Been having the same problem here with one particular user. I've
updated office 2k3 to sp3 and also run various other checks. Still not
able to pinpoint the exact problem. But the files that he is working
on are on a network drive and I think this has got to do with the
crash. Let me know if u are able to fix this error.

Hi,

Did this problem lead you lose any important data? If so, you may try
a popular Excel file recovery tool called Advanced Excel Repair to
repair your Excel file. It is a powerful tool to repair corrupt or
damaged Excel files.

Detailed information about Advanced Excel Repair can be found at
http://www.datanumen.com/aer/

And you can also download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/aer/aer.exe
