Fast User Switching

I have two users on my computer and want to use fast user switching. I tick
the fast user switching box as instructed, but after pushing apply, and
swiching into the activate fast user switching box, the box is always
unticked again. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong.

Bob,

Is the Terminal Services service started? Click Start, Run and type
SERVICES.MSC. Double-click "Terminal Services" and set it's startup type to
Manual. Restart Windows.
