Fast Switching menu

How can I change the little picture next to the fast
switching names? (guitar, snowflakes, etc...)

Also, can this menu be made to handle more than 5 users
which is default available on install?

Control Panel > User Accounts > pick the account and pick the picture

dunno about the 2nd question but I'm sure it's possible
