Fan speed

Just updated to xp. works fine on Sony Vaio. "BUT" The
fan runs wide open. I have the sp1 installed. I did not
see anything in the downloads about fan control ???

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Power Options.

From the "Power Schemes" pull-down menu, select:
Portable/Laptop and click "apply".
