False Microsoft Outlook warning re; AVG virus protection

D

D'Armond

Please advise,
I recently upgraded to WinXP pro from '98.
Everything seem to transfer well to XP except I constantly get this warning
before my checking e-mail:
'The add-in C:\windows\system\AVGXCH32.DLL could not be installed or added.
The problem C:\windows\system\AVGXCH32.DLL may be resolved using Detect &
Repair option in the help menu. Or you may be out of memory, system
resources, or missing a dll file'...

I click it off or OK and go to e-mail anyway so the message is false.

I used the D & R option but it seems to be of no use to eliminate the false
error message

I uninstalled and reinstalled AVG.6.0 free addition but I still get the
warning even though AVG is activated and does its job well.
Please help.
Thanks

The warning is that not all of the AVG program is working.
