I deleted AVG 85 anti-virus as I had problems with another program I noted,
then I noted at the start up of out look express I get this message come up.
The add-in "Exchange Extension" (C:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgxch32.dll) cannot be
loaded and has been disabled by outlook. Please contact the Add-in
manufacturer for an update, If no update please uninstall the Add-in. So I
just click ok, I have deleted out look & reinstalled but no go,& then with
out look I tried Go to Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced
Options...-> button
show Add-In Manager user interface errors, I turned it on but no go so I
undone you I had done when it did not work

Are you talking about Outlook Express which is part of IE, or Microsoft
Outlook which is part of Microsoft Office? They are two entirely different
programs. Please clarify since there is a different newsgroup specializing in
Outlook Express.

I have Microsoft Outlook 2007. What I had done is
deleted Microsoft outlook & reinstalled but no the problem was still their,So
what I have done is deleted a program I had installed which did not work with
AVG anti-Virus & reinstalled AVG, So I think best as I have had AVG for some
time it might be best to stay away from that program, thanks yours sincerely

I use Outlook 2007 with AVG myself at home with no problem. However, I don't
allow AVG to integrate with Outlook since it's not required, even for
scanning email. You should test by removing the Add In. Your real time
scanner will catch everything it's updated for. Also, if you don't have an
Exchange mailbox (business mail account in most cases) you don't need that
Add In anyway.
