fake printer

Hi

I need to convert a proprietary document to postscript. The viewing program
refuses to convert its document to anything, and only does printing to a
printer (not a file).

Is there any way to install a 'fake printer' (software only), so that that
program would talk to it, and together they will produce a PostScript file
or something like that?
