Failure to install product catalog

can anyone shed some light on how to deal with this fatal
error. I've tried renaming the catroot2 folder but the
folder is created again during setup leading to the same
error!

Hi,

Thanks for replying, I actually referred to the article
you sent the link for before I posted the query. I am
certain that it is a problem with the catroot2 folder
because despite renaming it when I receive the fatal error
message, the computer has to shut down and restart setup
which creates a new catroot2 folder with the offending
files. Do you know of any way of preventing the
recreation of catroot2 or not having to start from scratch
after the fatal error so I could get out of the loop?
