"failed to determine if the store is in the crawl scope

My outlook 2007 hangs when it checks email. The event view has the following
error. "failed to determine if the store is in the crawl scope
(error=0x8001010d)".

Any Suggestions.

Do you have Windows Desktop Search installed? If so, try rebuilding its index.

Hello there,

I am also experiencing this issue and have rebuilt my index repeatedly,
although this error keeps occurring-practically on a daily basis and multiple
times per day.

By chance, are there any other things you can think of that may be causing
this to happen?

I am running XP Home with SP3 and Office 2007 with SP1, all fully updated.
