Failed to get the Crawl Scope Manager with error=0x8001010d.

Dear all,

I used Outlook 2007 for some time with Pop3 access without problem.

A couple of days ago, I had problems with my imternet connection when trying
to send emails with attachment.
I don't know if this is exactly since then but I am now experimenting weird
problems sending email (receiving seems fine).

The symptoms as I can make it are

- sometimes, an email is sent to the Outbox but does not seem to get sent.
Double clicking on it and clicking on the Send button seems to throw Outlook
in a loop (50% cpu usage on my dual core system)

- In Event Viewer, there are two errors each time I retry (stop Outlook,
start outlook, open Outbox, open msg, press <Send>)
error 1: Failed to get the Crawl Scope Manager with error=0x8001010d.
error 2: Failed to determine if the store is in the crawl scope
(error=0x8001010d).

Although I have not been able to find a pattern, some emails seem to go,
others don't.

Any idea?

Many Thanks

Eric

I unfortunately see the same error in my Event log. I am attempting to
identify the cause for a total failure in Windows Search Indexing. I suspect
they are related. I have attempted many of the corrective actions suggested
by Microsoft and others with no success.
