I just ran the FAST, it backed up all my files and settings, took hours
doing it and I wasn't given the opportunity to choose the location of the
files it created (or if I was, I didn't choose and didn't notice where it
was putting them)
Does anyone know where FAST puts its files by default? I am trying to
transfer across a network and am being asked by the new computer where to
find the files. I haven't got the vaguest idea which types of files it is
looking for (presumably they are pointers to all sorts of other files) or
what they are called. searching by date and time didn't elucidate much
In any event, wherever I try to point the receiving computer, all I get told
is that the files aren't there. I have opened up the root of all my
directories on the old computer to file sharing over my WiFi network so I am
keen on finding these files as quickly as possible preferably before al my
neighbours do!
