Extremly slow working, CPU usage 99%

Hello,
I have a new IBM laptop, new installation, with office
2003.
Wen I start the the pc, everything works fine and smooth,
Powerpoint good speed.
After working in other programs like excel and word, and
then returning to powerpoint my pc works extremly slow.
In taskmanager I can see that the cpu is used for 100%
and the proces Rundll32.exe uses 99% of it.
What can I do about it?
All service packs and updates are done.

The protection seem to be OK, all updates are done,
virusprotection is active and scans don't show any result
of infection.
Any other ID's?

do msconfig in run and remove the unwanted startup items
and (include rundll also). check that one first
