Extremely slow boot on Laptop

My low end Acer laptop is very slow to boot. Takes almost five minutes
to become functional. Celeron, MHz FSB, 256 MB DDR etc.
AVG and AVG antispyware tools are running. Not much in startup.
Sygate Firewall, both AVGs, dumrep 0 -k, rundll32 and keyhook.
Can somebody offer some tweak?

Both AVGs' ? - Celeron processors are limited by the amount of L2
Cache memory and 256-Megabytes of RAM is a minimum. A 5-Min
boot cycle would probably indicate Service time outs. Your best bet
is forget tweaks and check the System Event Logs for errors. As far
as performance improvements a memory upgrade to 512 might be in
order. However, Some entry-level notebooks have only a single RAM
module socket or other restrictions that prevent adding memory. For
a memory upgrade I'd check your owners manual and make sure if
the PC can have additional memory added.

Two AVGs are Anti virus and Anti spyware.

I did review the log. One tool that would help is AutoRuns from
SysInternals. Once loaded slowly scroll through the list looking
for notations about "File Not Found" in the Image Path heading.
Ensure that AutoRuns is currently set to display "Everything" Tab.
These entries are calls to non-existent modules. Review carefully
and make sure the machine is adequately backed up before you
make any changes.
Diagnosing and resolving these types of issues is really beyond
the scope of what can be done via the Newsgroup.

You havent maybe used winupdate to update any hw drivers have you?
