Extraction WIzard

Hi, a friends son added another extraction wizard on her XP, 7 Zip or
something, and she now wants the inbuilt extraction wizard that came with XP
back as the one she has been using is unreliable, how would you go about
reinstating it as your extraction wizard? I can't find any info on how to
override the other one?

I'd really appreciate any help you could offer me,

Thanks in advance

zipcentral is much better:
http://search.microsoft.com/results.aspx?mkt=en-US&form=MSHOME&setlang=en-US&q=zipcentral

but you can reset that feature
by going into my computer, folder
options and file types.

look for the zip extension and
a button to reset or default it
back to the original state will
be provided....

Try this.

Select Run from the Start Menu:

Type or Paste: regsvr32 cabview.dll at the prompt and click OK.
and
Type or Paste: regsvr32 zipfldr.dll at the prompt and click OK.

You should see a popup telling that regsvr32 cabview.dll succeeded and one
that regsvr32 zipfldr.dll succeeded.

The change will take effect immediately, but you may have to restart Windows
for all features of the built-in ZIP support to be available.

Yodel-leedle lay-dee, you oughta see my car
I drive a big old Cadillac with wire wheels,

Wasn't that a hit from the 30's? I can't remember that far back.

1965.

Which reminds of Fred, the guy who worked in inedible rendering in a pork
packing house in Louisville, KY. There were only two things that Fred could
not remember, the sixties and the seventies. LOL He may have been involved
with controlled substances during the sixties.
