Extra Icons on taskbar

I had to return my printer because of a defect. When I

hooked up and installed the new one, I now have 2 printer
icons on the taskbar. I tried to fix it, but only created
2 more. Does anyone know how I can remove icons
permanently from the taskbar?

I already removed the printers from the printer/faxes in
the control panel - didn't work.

There is a reference to the printer, but it doesn't allow

the add/remove (no button). I have uninstalled and
reinstalled before with the installation disk, but that
just adds another icon.
