Cannot remove icons rightside taskbar but outside systray

Pc running Win XP Pro & Hp deskjet usb.
The icons i want remove concern: 1) "Add printer"; 2) Hp deskjet installed;
3) Fax printer driver.
The icons are placed right side of taskbar but NOT in the systray. In
"Msconfig \ startup tab" and there are no indications.
If I try to delete the Hp icon i just uninstall the printer itself. I cannot
even drag the icons to the left side of taskbar to hide them, they merely
replicate.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Right click on the taskbar and select Toolbars. Remove the check from
Printers and Faxes.
