How can i export my Personal Address Book (NOT outlook contacts) to a csv or
txt file so i can get an overview of who is a member of which distribution
list.

Kind regards,
Hans

Russ,

thanks for your quick response.

i've allready found a way to import my pab to a second outlook contacts
folder and tried to export this contacts folder to a excel spreadsheet. I
also managed to do so but in the spreadsheet the members of the various
distribution lists are not shown. Can you help me any further?

kind regards,
Hans

Outlook has not used a PAB for over 7 years, so there is no support for
this. Not sure why you would be.
Look for third party software:

No. As I said, Outlook has no support for PAB's.
Even in current information stores, DL's cannot be exported.

What most people do is save the DL as a text file and then convert to CSV.

I don't think you can do that with a PAB DL. What about importing the whole PAB into an Outlook contacts folder? That should include the DLs, IIRC.

You're probably right. I was hoping he'd try it and tell us. Pretty soon
there won't be any PAB's out there to play with. I wonder if there are any
hiding out in a deep Louisiana swamp.
