Export contacts to a list

Outlook 2002

Client wants to export Contacts to a list including email addresses. His
Outlook is running on a Exchange server. When the contacts are exports,
those email addresses outside the Exchange server are fine. However, those
on the Exchange server are not. They appear as
"X400:c=US;a=;p=MIGOV;o=Exchange;s=Rueter;g=Brenda;i=k"

How do we merge the email addresses within the Contact list, for instance
into Excel, so they can be used to send email?
