Hello..I have a Dane-elec 9 in 4 usb card reader (for my digital camera) when
I plug the card reader into the USB port, MS explorer will not show the four
(new usb) drives in Windows Explorer any more.

I know the computer (at least) recognizes my reader because I can view the
four directories in my backup utility...but just not in Windows Explorer.

This problem just started occuring and I have not been able to find any FAQs
on the subject...Maybe something in the registry? Can anyone help?

Maybe it's related to this error.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Highlight the CDRom Drive Key(s),
delete the Values "UpperFilters" and/or "LowerFilters" Open Device Manager (Winkey-Break, or start/run, type 'sysdm.cpl / Hardware
Tab) Remove the entry for the cd device(s), then restart.

..
