explorer window location changes on screen resize

hello,

how can I fix this irritating problem. Ones I change my screen resolution
the quick task windows changes it’s location and all the buttons are now
located under the taskbar.

Mic,

The dialog is movable & it's window is resizable. I don't see any problem
here.

the problem is that I need to move the window upwords everytime. Windows
does not remember this window location and it will always pop in with the
bottom part of it underneath the taskbar. quite annoying. don't you think?

Mic,

If you're changing the display resolution very frequently, then simply
create a .REG file which resets the Copy To/Move To Window dimensions to
defaults. You may use this REG file below:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]
"Browse For Folder Height"=-
"Browse For Folder Width"=-

- - -

Copy the contents above (starting from REGEDIT4) to Notepad, and save as
resetpos.reg. Optionally, you can place the REG file in your Quick Launch
folder.

To merge REG files silently, you use the -s parameter:

Example: regedit.exe -s c:\resetpos.reg
