Explorer Version 6

I have a problem in which my internet browser 6 will not
allow me to access sites that have a secure base. The
browser says "page cannot be displayed" or "cannot find
Server or DNS Error" but I know the site is
not down. Same sites working in Netscape. All of the
secure options are turned on in the
internet options and I do not know what else to do.
Please help me.
