explorer shut downs

Go into your add\remove programs list and remove 811493.
Microsoft knows this is still affecting IE6 but don't seem
to care. Good luck.
 
I'm a bit leary about deleting something that states that
if I do my other programs will not work. What are these
hot fix files?
