Explorer out of control!!!

Hello. I have been using Windows Millenium and Internet
Explorer ver.5. Couple days ago I updated it to the version
6, then it is taking forever to use the explorer now. It
takes me about a minute to visit a site...So I deleted ver
6 but ver 5 is slow, too. What have I done wrong? I found
out that server is just fine because other online programs
are working good....Please answer me.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
