Internet Explorer Browser take over

Something keeps taking over my Internet Explorer Browser.
It keeps on going to porn sites, about one every five
seconds. I'm using ver. 6 with service pack 1. I'm up to
date with all my Explorer paches and my virus protection,
yet it keeps taking over. What can I try?
