Explorer has caused an error in URLMON.DLL.

All of a sudden, this error message began to appear.
Nothing different had been done. No new programs added,
nothing. We've tried several so called fixes. We
downloaded the latest update for IE, and the message went
away, but now it's back. Help! Any ideas?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
