i am starting to get regular problems with Explorer.exe continually having
to close after i close a window on IE7 or even within windows itself, e.g a
normal window after accessing a program.

This has been happening for a few weeks now and is VERY annoying.
is this a Bug or is it something more sinister?

It's probably something more sinister. Try a spyware / malware / virus scan.

i have scanned with several types noth Symantec and mcaffee also Spybot
and spyware stuff and nothing found. i have run scandisk checker and
nothing shows as an error.

So im not sure exactly what was happening.

Im just anxious to get sorted so it doesnt keep happening im open to all
sensible suggestions but please help if you can
