Explorer.exe - application error

referenced memory - application error

I updated my IE to IE7 before then one day O got a message asking me to update my IE7, when I clicked ok it finally changed to IE6.

I have not been able to upgrade to IE7 again

And each time I want to shutdown my pc i get the following message

Tha instruction at "0x7c910f29" referenced memory at "0x00000067" memory could not be read.

Please help.
