IE application error

I was startled when my IE7 could not work.. So i decided to uninstall IE7..
But IE6 still cannot work. I am currently using Firefox.
The error is
iexplore.exe - Application error
The instruction at "0x370036b4" referenced memory "0x00000428". The memory
could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program

PLEASE HELP!!! I need IE to do school work. Thanks.

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with

Hello,

Try running IE6 with add-ons disabled

Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced (tab) > UNCHECK "Enable
third-party browser extensions" > OK

If it works now, one of your add-ons is causing the problem. Start Internet
Explorer as normal, Tools, Manage Add-ons, Enable or Disable Add-ons.

Disable all the add-ons. Enable third-party browser extensions in Internet
Options.

Restart your browser and enable the add-ons one by one till the problem
appears and you get the culprit.

Thanks! I installed Ad-aware from lavasoft and remove the hijacks and
spywares and my IE can work now.. =D
