When trying to browse files through explorer, I get the random message:
Explorer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0xWhatever" referenced memory at "0xWhatever". The
memory could not be "read".
Click on OK t terminate the program.
Click on CANCEL to debug the program.
I have searched this topic already, and have found many posts, but no "real"
replies to fix it, except "scan for spyware and viruses, repair with disk."
Just wondering if there is a way to fix this without wasting the machine away
and reloading Windows 2000 Pro on it.
By the way - this happens after a fresh reboot and no programs are open. It
is random when the error appears, and when it does, it reloads explorer and
the desktop.
I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
